Flore Morton joined the Academy’s School of Fashion in 2006 and has built and brought to accreditation the BFA Fashion Styling program, the first in the country, and the MA Fashion Art Direction program. During her tenure, she has taught fashion design, fashion styling, photo shoot production, and art direction classes. During her 20 years in the fashion industry, Morton has designed knitwear, woven, leatherwear, swimwear, and accessories for Martin Margiela and Jean Paul Gaultier at the Hermès women’s ready-to-wear department in Paris. She has expertise in tailoring, dressmaking, knitwear, leatherwear, swimwear, accessories, styling, and art direction. She holds a BFA and MFA in Fashion Design from the École Supérieure d’Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris.
She is also the Fashion Editor of 180 Magazine and leads the School of Fashion exchange programs with Kingston in the UK and Studio Berçot in Paris.
